Welcome to Golden Acres, a peaceful lakeside retreat just a short drive from the Twin Cities. Located on the shores of Square Lake, one of Minnesota’s clearest lakes, Golden Acres is the perfect escape for a quick getaway or a longer summer stay.

Guests can enjoy swimming, boating, and paddling on the lake, explore nearby historic Marine on Saint Croix and downtown Stillwater, and end each day gathered around the campfire under the stars.

We offer three ways to stay: full hook-up RV campsites available nightly or weekly, on-site lodging including a remodeled RV or our Lakefront Villa with stunning views, and seasonal RV sites for those looking to make Golden Acres their summer home.

Seasonal RV Camping

  • Golden Acres offers full hookup 30/50 AMP seasonal campsites. 2026 season runs from May 1st - October 20th.

    2025 seasonal campsites are full, waitlist for 2026 season is found at the bottom of our RV camping page.

  • $4,570 for the season

    Does not include electricity which is billed monthly.

Nightly RV Camping

  • Golden Acres offers back in 30/50 AMP full hookup campsites available for nightly reservations.

    Campsites vary in max length allowed. Our largest can accommodate RVs up to 42 ft.

    Max reservation is 28 nights.

  • $70/Night Sunday - Thursday

    $85/Night Friday & Saturday

    Weekly special, book 7 nights for the price of 6 nights. Discount applied automatically at checkout for 7 night stays.

  • Golden Acres offers RV lodging on our premier double lot campsite overlooking Golden Pond.

  • Sunday-Wednesday: $180/night

    Thursday-Saturday: $240/night

Whether you're seeking adventure or relaxation, our rentals cater to all ages and interests, providing the perfect complement to your lakeside escape at Golden Acres.

Park Rules

  • No glass containers

  • No low grills

  • No pets in picnic area or beach area

  • No fishing in swim area

  • No loud or disturbing music

  • No smoking marijuana

  • Small children must be accompanied by an adult at all times

  • Swim at your own risk - No lifeguard on duty

  • Public Access Hours

    • May 1st - May 31st 9AM - 7PM

    • June 1st - August 31st 9AM - 8PM Weekdays and 8AM - 8PM Weekends

    • September 1st - October 20th 9AM - 7PM
